Dr Cathy Higgins is a senior researcher, writer and educator, with the Ethical and Shared Remembering Project of the Junction, Derry / Londonderry. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin. Recent publications include Profiling Irish Women: Late 19th and Early 20th Centuries (2014) and Churches in Exile: Alternative Models of Church for Ireland in the 21st Century (2013). She has also co-authored four books with Johnston McMaster, most recently War and Memory (2014), Signing The Covenant But Which One?(2012) and Doing Community Theology: Reflection on Education for Reconciliation (2012). Her current research and writing is on the theme of patriarchy, violence and gender-based justice toward a forthcoming publication |
