As a comparative study using the diocese of Ahiara (Nigeria) and the archdiocese of Munich and Freising (Germany) as its basis, this work aims at finding out the role of religious education in the unification of cultures and national development in both Nigeria and Germany. Although the method of teaching religion in these two places is different, this study strives to establish the impact of religious education in the practice of religion among young people in both areas of investigation.
